Just a few days to go before the doors of ITMA Asia are thrown open for business and our stand builder, Rema Exhibition Services of Shanghai, are well on schedule with the construction of the James Heal stand for this important event in our exhibition calendar.
The exhibition, which takes place from the 16th to 20th of June, is held in the New International Expo Centre, in Shanghai, China.
Our stand is in Hall 3 on Stand A21 which is where visitors will be able to view and be given demonstrations of the latest innovations in textile testing from our range of Testing Instruments and Test Materials.
OUR LATEST INNOVATIONS
Once the exhibition commences, our team, supported by representatives from Introtech, our exclusive authorised dealer in China and Hong Kong, will be showcasing our range of testing instruments for physical and colour fastness testing. The exhibit will include demonstrations of new innovations and includes;
MARTINDALE - abrasion and pilling tester
The latest exciting evolution of the James Heal Martindale abrasion and pilling tester will be on show. This instrument is used within the textile and apparel sector for an extensive and continually expanding array of diverse materials. Available in three sizes to accommodate different levels of testing, the new 1300 Series includes the Mini-Martindale 1302 model, the Midi-Martindale 1305 model and the 9 station Maxi-Martindale 1309 model.
New features include a hinged top plate on the Maxi-Martindale model, which allows access to all testing stations and an intuitive user interface that enables quick and easy set up.
TITAN – universal strength tester
The company's latest model of the Titan will also be on show. This easy to use strength tester is designed for testing textiles, non-wovens and leather - in their various forms, and can accommodate tests up to 5000N.
Also on display will be our GyroWash - washing and dry cleaning colour fastness tester, the TruBurst - pneumatic bursting strength tester, the Orbitor - pilling and snagging tester and TruFade, an Air-Cooled Light Fastness Tester.

Our stand in Shanghai will also showcase our range of high quality Test Materials. For over 40 years we have supplied test material to the highest standard of consistency, reliability and performance and as we also design and manufacture testing instruments, we believe this give us an unparalleled understanding of how these consumables integrate with the instruments on which they are used.
