James Heal – On Our Travels

05 May 2016

James Heal representatives have been travelling the world over the past month, with the aim of understanding markets and collaborating with our agents.

Vietnam

The first stop was Vietnam – Louise Sheridan, Product Manager and Javier Manzano, International Sales Manager travelled to jointly host a textile testing seminar with our local agent Thach Anh Vang. The conference was successful, with over 50 attendees who listened to presentations from James Heal representatives and Ms Liem, laboratory manager from Intertek.

Next stop - the Saigontex exhibition, which was a chance to meet important customers such as the TAL group, amongst others. Our agent Binh was interviewed on Info TV, a Vietnamese television channel – it’s an exciting thought that James Heal have been represented on national TV.

Indonesia

Javier then travelled to Indonesia to meet up with our local agent PT Multi Rajut for the Indo-Intertex exhibition. Attendance at the exhibition was higher than previous years, with a James Heal display focussed mainly on test materials. It was a chance to meet important customers and potential customers, including Bureau Veritas, PT Tribintang Lokawarna and PT Dan Liris.

USA

The final stop (for a few weeks at least!) is the TechTextil exhibition in Atlanta, Georgia. Peter Goodwin, our extremely knowledgeable Head of Technical, is there now, teaming up with our USA agent ATI Corporation to exhibit a wide range of James Heal testing instruments and test materials. The exhibition runs until 5th May, any visitors are welcome to stop by the James Heal stand to discuss testing or see what we can offer.
