James Heal to attend Techtextil

27 April 2015

James Heal is excited to be returning to Techtextil in Frankfurt, Germany.

Held at the Exhibition Centre Frankfurt, this event is described as ‘the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens’.  With 1,300 exhibitors and around 27,500 visitors expected, Techtextil is ‘the world’s central marketing and sourcing platform for users and manufacturers of technical textiles and nonwovens'.

From 4th to 7th May, our Senior Textile Technician, Louise Wilson, will be teaming up with Carl von Gehlen GmbH & Co., our exclusive sales and service representative in Germany, to promote our range of precision testing instruments and test materials.

All those planning to attend Techtextil should stop by Hall 3.0 Stand F41 to see what James Heal can offer the those involved in technical textiles. We will be demonstrating key instruments and our representatives will be available to discuss how James Heal extraordinary testing solutions can meet specific testing needs.

Instruments that will be demonstrated at this exciting exhibition include:
  • TruBurst - an intelligent bursting strength tester with unprecedented functionality. This instrument enables an extensive variety of tests to be performed on a wide range of materials.  These include textiles, medical supplies, paper, tin foil and plastic items – it has even been used to test the burst strength of mosquito nets.
  • Martindale 1302S - This instrument is a specifically designed Martindale which enables customers to pre-select from a range of attachments those which match their own testing needs. The different attachments allow for a wide variety of tests to be performed on a diverse range of product types, including wet and damp testing, lacquers, coatings, wood, laminates, paints, textiles, thick samples, liquids, sprays, powders, straps, ropes and shoelaces.
