Service and Calibration

23 August 2013

Service and Calibration is the after sales support division within James Heal offering maintenance and assistance to customers throughout the world.

Our support team includes instrument technicians who travel to our customers’ testing laboratories to service and calibrate their instruments.

Regular service and calibration visits will ensure your testing instruments provide accurate test results and operate efficiently.

You may find that auditors and customers require proof that testing instruments have been serviced and calibrated so we provide Certificates of Calibration within two weeks of our visit and we provide a Calibration card for all instruments with details of our service. Certificates are normally available to download from our website within 7 days.

Our Service and Calibration department look after all your product support needs from installation of your instruments, training, repairs and maintenance. Our procedures comply with ISO 17025 and many of our calibrations are accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). James Heal instrument technicians are also audited and validated by UKAS. UKAS are affiliated to ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) which means our certification is valid globally.

During our visit we will discuss any issues that you have and can provide technical assistance and training where required. We recognise the convenience of getting all your laboratory instruments calibrated at the same time. We specialise in our own James Heal instruments but we can calibrate many test instruments that are manufactured by other companies. For example we can calibrate various tensile testers (up to 5,000N).

If you would like to contact our service and calibration department, please email: serviceandcalibration@james-heal.co.uk.
