James Heal is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected, and all information gathered will only be used in accordance with the policy and under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

This notice only applies to information collected by James Heal on the James Heal website. We are not responsible for the policies of any third party website we link to and recommend you check their policies before submitting any information.

What information do we collect?

Contact, registration and sign up forms are used around the website, and customers are asked to provide information in order to access certain services.

You may be asked to enter personal information including:

  • Your name
  • Company
  • Job Role
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • What type of testing you carry out

If you are submitting a support ticket:

  • The country you are in

We will only collect the information we deem necessary to provide the service you have requested or signed up for. We will not process data for children under the age of 15 without parental consent.

How we use this information

The personal data that we collect will be used in to deal with questions and queries and to provide relevant products and services to you. If you opt in, this may involve sending you promotional and marketing materials, as well as email newsletters.

We use third-party providers to provide services across our website. These providers are wholly GDRP compliant.

We use Hubspot to log and reply to support tickets, and within this system we store contact information and details on previous support issues. We may also create a profile for you so that we can analyse user behaviour in order to personalise the products, services and information we send to you. Who we share your information with

We have a network of Global Sales Channel Partners who act on our behalf and we will share your information with them when it is necessary and relevant so they can provide a service on our behalf. Our Sales Channel Partners will only use your information for the purpose of providing this service. Information will be transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area.

How long we hold this information

Your information will be retained indefinitely until you wish to unsubscribe or request for your information to be erased. The option to unsubscribe will be available on all James Heal communications, and further information on having your information erased is included below.

How we protect your information

James Heal is committed to ensuring that all information we hold on you is secure. We have put in place robust policies in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure. These include, but are not limited to, physical, electronic and managerial procedures to manage the protection of personal data.

How to contact us about your personal data or this privacy notice

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 you have the right to request a copy of the personal data James Heal holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. (We require you to prove your identity with 2 pieces of approved identification). We have a legal duty to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files. Please address requests and questions about this or any other question about this Privacy Notice to the Financial Director. We will need two copies of forms of identification, which can be:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence
  • Birth certificate
  • Utility bill (from last 3 months)
  • Current vehicle registration document
  • Bank statement (from last 3 months)

If you want additional copies of the information we hold on you, we will charge a fee of £10, which will be based on the administrative cost to James Heal of providing the additional copies.
