How do you perform tensile, stretch and tear testing?
Using a Titan Universal Strength Tester, you can conduct a wide variety of tensile, stretch and tear tests across a diverse range of applications.
The most widely specified type is the Constant Rate of Extension (CRE), constant rate of traverse (CRT) and constant rate of loading (CRL).
What types of products would be tested like this?
Most materials and textiles will be tested for their tensile, stretch and tear properties.
That includes apparel, miltary apparel, non-wovens, footwear, PPE, upholstery, sportswear and outdoorwear, rubber and other non-textile materials
